Why shouldn't our furry friends have their special place on our walls too? Lets face it, for most of us, the dog is a member of the family whom we love and cherish... why not celebrate their presence in our lives??? I am a doggie person... I just adore them. Unfortunately, I am also allergic to most, which severely limits the type of dog I can live with. I do fine with my own dog, Tara, a Shiba Inu, and did well previously with a Chow Chow that my hubby and I adopted when we were first married. I can only live with one at a time, and certain breeds can really send my allergies out of control, but if I had it my way, I'd have tons of furry children running around the house. Since I cant do that, I figure I can enjoy other peoples furry kids and capture their lives and personalities with my lens! So there will be more to come... my first doggie sessions are already lined up and I cant wait to share my vision with you!

My little man... {Ocean County Photographer}

Its rare these days that my little guy willingly gives me an opportunity to photograph him... even rarer still that he let me "style" him. A typical image of him is in a logo t-shirt - not exactly the best clothing for a photoshoot - and no way am I allowed to touch his hair. Well... he must have been feeling extra generous because not only did he allow me to spike his hair (he looks so cute all spiked - but he hates it!) but he also let me photograph him shirtless... something I always wanted to do. I love a headshot of a boy without a shirt... without distraction... where I can just focus in on that impish face. :)

Anyway... enough gushing... here are the images...

Here he's showing off the faded remnants of the super-cool shark tattoo that he got in Florida last week... he's obviously not scrubbing that area very well in the shower... ;)

Just the sweetest face EVER... yes... serious "mommy goggles"... but I dont care... its my blog and I can say what I want!

And oooooooooh melt my heart!!!! LOVE this one!

And one very serious one... but I love how it shows off the spikey 'do (that I may never see again... sniff, sniff)
