Back from paradise... {Jersey Shore Photographer}

Yup... vacation's over. :( We had such an amazing time and none of us wanted to leave our little piece of paradise...

We spent a week at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando...

This is the view from where I sat poolside each day... isnt it amazing?
The view above me...

I swear my son grew gills from spending so much time in the water... we both must have gone down this incredible water slide a few hundred times - it was soooooooooooo much fun!

I even let Matty get a "tattoo"... a very cool cobra. He got so tanned while we were there that when the tattoo faded away, he was left with a white cobra where the skin below didnt tan!

Love this mural we found in Universal Studios...

And the old cars in front of "Mel's Diner"...

And no trip to Universal is complete until you've put your head into the mouth of "Jaws"!

If my husband didnt snap this picture you'd never know I was there!

And OMG how I loved the backlot sets - a photographers dream. My boys obliged for just a few... and I especially loved this one.

It was a great trip... one I think my boys will remember for a looooooooong time to come!

VACATION!!! {Ocean County Beach Photographer}

Yup... that's right... Denise Snyder Photography will be CLOSED from Friday, June 19th through Sunday, June 28th. We're taking the kiddies to Florida - so excited! If you wish to book summer sessions, you may still email me at denise@denisesnyderphotography.com and I will respond to you as soon as I am able. And since no post would be complete without a picture, here's one from my most recent session with a "vacation" feel to it!

Sneak Peek - Ms. J {New Jersey Portrait Photographer}

Meet my beautiful (inside and out) friend "J". J and I havent seen each other in quite a while, so it was a real treat when she came to visit me yesterday. After lots of good gab and good food, we set out to a local park where she was kind enough to model for me while I tried out a few new lighting tricks. Along the way we attracted quite a crowd of (male) admirers... undoubtedly checking out my lovely model! We also ran across some of the largest and most disgusting insects I think I've ever seen. First was the huge... I'm talking movie monster huge... spider, then the tree I made her lean against that we later discovered was crawling with caterpillars... and finally, the coup de gras... the biggest, ugliest bee I have EVER seen in my life decided we looked like a good meal! But through it all she was a great sport, despite the stains on her clothes and the close encounters of the insect kind! Thanks J! Here's a little peek for you!

Thanks for stopping by today! ~ Denise ~

Welcome to the world baby Marcus! {NJ Baby Photographer}

Meet little man Marcus... just six days old! What a dream baby he is... he slept like a champ most of the time I was there, letting me move him and pose him and never uttered a single cry. The family's home was an adorable victorian with the coolest yard I couldnt resist doing the shoot outdoors - something new for me with a newborn.

I bought this cool vintage suitcase a few weeks ago and was excited to try it out...

Here he is modeling a hat made by his Grandmother ... also known as the "Crochet Nanny"... there is a link to her online store at the bottom of this blog page. Photographers - go check out her wonderful baby hats and blankets and cocoons!

Mom, Dad and big brother got in on the act...

Love that smooshy little face and those lips!

This might be my favorite... a babe in the woods...

And handsome big brother was happy to pose for me too! Can you believe this was in their yard? So cool!

Thanks so much for inviting me into your home to photograph your precious newborn baby boy! Enjoy your sneak peek - lots more to come soon!
