Stephanie & Ryan Tied the Knot!

I dont consider myself a wedding photographer... in fact, the thought of photographing a wedding and all the responsibility that goes along with that scares the heck out of me! But when Stephanie contacted me and asked me to photograph her wedding, I decided to take the plunge. Actually, it was was more like a little dip since this wedding was to be a very small, casual, intimate affair at a beautiful victorian bed and breakfast on Long Beach Island, which boasts some of the most beautiful beaches along the Jersey Shore. Surrounded by a just a handful of their closest friends and families, Stephanie and Ryan were married in a lovely little gazebo on the grounds of the Williams Cottage Inn. Here is a little sneak peek... I was up editing into the wee hours last night because I wanted them to get their peek before leaving for their honeymoon.

Stephanie made the most beautiful bride! Loved her peeking over the railing here...

and then this very glam shot with that beautiful window light!

This feels very "southern belle" to me...

And this was just as they were prounounced husband and wife...

Surrounded by their guests...
The grooms gorgeous daughter who took part in the ceremony and did a great job - isnt she gorgeous?

Then down to the beach for some romantic shots - my favorite part!

Stephanie and Ryan, I wish you a lifetime of happiness together! You are such a fun couple, and seem so perfect for each other - thank you for choosing me to document your day! Special thanks also to my assistant, Kayla, for making my job so much easier! :)

A girl and a violin... {Ocean County Photographer}

This is something I have always wanted to photograph... a girl and a violin... and I got my wish tonight! Her mom and I were friends in high school, and recently reconnected thanks to Facebook (yup, I'm a facebookaholic - lol). When I heard her daughter was a violinist well, lets just say I could hardly contain my excitement when she mentioned that she'd love to have some portraits of her daughter with her violin! Here's just a quick peek... there definitely will be more to come!

I hope you both enjoy this little peek - lots more to come soon!

What a glorious morning!

As anyone who lives in NJ knows, we have had the rainiest, most dreary spring EVER, or at least it feels like it. Its been so long since we've seen the sun that I was blown away when I woke up this morning to see it shining brightly through my window. Outside the light was golden, and dew covered everything, shining like little diamonds on the grass, leaves and flowers. I couldnt WAIT to get outside. So I took my son to the bus as usual, but brought the camera - normally forbidden - but I think Matthew was so happy to see the sun as well that he indulged me... just a little. Well, I took a few shots of Matthew, and kids getting on the bus, and on the short walk home I just started snapping away. I got so lost in what I was doing that I was late for work! It was worth it - I totally needed it. :) Thought I'd share a few with you.

My neighbor's lavender:

Love the way the out of focus dew drops sparkle...

And in focus the leaves appear encrusted with diamonds...

The spiders were hard at work, you could see their webs all over the place with all the dew...

I really like this one... just a typical school bus line up!

And my sweetheart... who gave me one little half smile... though I couldve shot him all day~

Thanks for stopping by!
