Sneak Peek - Isaiah

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job! I got to photograph this absolutely priceless newborn today. Little Isaiah turned two weeks old today - the perfect age for a newborn shoot! He was soooo good, and slept almost the entire time I was there. Even when he was awake, he barely fussed... a total sweetheart! Here's a sneak peek for Isaiah's Mommy & Daddy...

I also need to give a little shout out to my friend Ellen Tietke. Ellen is otherwise known as the "crochet nanny", and made the little hat, and the cocoon that Isaiah is wrapped up in. Her pictures turned out sooooooooo beautiful I just couldnt resist posting a few more. Blogger does wash out some of the color though :(

Loved this one on the overturned lifeguard stand. I applied a coral wash finish to it...

And would you believe a graffiti covered wall right on the beach, so we were able to get both a beach and urban style shoot all in one location! I could hardly contain my excitement when I saw that! Way cool. Shot this one from a few feel below looking up at her and absolutely loved the point of view... not to mention her drop dead gorgeous natural smile!

Getting my ducks in a row...

That's what I am up to these days... I have been working so hard lately not only shooting, but working on the business side of all of this. I have been so thrilled by the success of my fledgling little business, and the response I have received from so many wonderful people that I decided it was time to re-evaluate and revamp everything... from my brand spankin' new website that launched last week, to my cool new logo which I finally had created by a professional graphic designer (see above on the blog header) to a bit of a spruce up right here on my blog.

Thought this pic was the perfect symbol for all of the hard work and long hours I have been putting in lately... and I hope that it all pays off in the end. Even if you've never done so before, please feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what you think of the new look! I'd love to hear from you!

A fun family day...

My hubby's been on vacation, I had the day off, and my sister was visiting from Tennessee and wanted to spend time with the boys... so we decided to check out the Adventure Aquarium in Camden. What a place it was - so much to see! Our favorite attractions were the shark tunnel and the hippo exhibit! I always loved these types of shots of silhouettes - usually with a whale or dolphin in the background... but here's my version with a hippo! They were so graceful under the water. It was so hard to get this shot due to the very low lighting - and I certainly didnt want to ruin it with a flash!

My NEW Website is LIVE!!!

I am so excited to announce that I am LIVE with my beautiful new website! Its been a lot of hard work, but I am very proud of it! I am a BAD blogger!

I've been sorely neglecting my blog... but with very good reason! I have been incredibly busy, not only with sessions, but I am thrilled to announce that I will be launching an ALL NEW and tremendously improved website!!! YAY!!! I am so excited about it... its going to be so pretty, and so ME!

Here's a peek at a session I couldnt show you before, because the pics were a surprise for their Mom, orchestrated completely by their Dad. Dad tells me that Mom was thrilled with her pics - they ordered some beautiful large prints, had them matted and framed and hung them up while she was out! Isnt that an awesome gift? I cant imagine anything a mother would love more than beautiful images of her children... especially when they are this gorgeous!

I think that this is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE images... I love the closeness and the emotion...

I'll be sure to make a special post when my new site launches, and keep watching because there will be a *special* deal to go along with that launch! Till next time!

A birthday bash!

My adorable nephew Christopher celebrated his fourth birthday yesterday... boy how time flies. My brother and his wife just had a beautiful in ground pool put in their yard, and so it was only right that they christen the new pool with a birthday bash for Christopher!
