Not your ordinary session... {Monmouth County Beach Photographer}

I had a super fun session today with Andrea, a local dietician who is in the process of setting up her own website and needed some unique images. I think we got some really great ones! I was so impressed with her athletic ability - as well as her ability to handle the very cold windy beach without complaint! Here's just a little peek...

I apologize if the color is looking a little off here... its uploading a little different from what I am seeing in photoshop. I finally got my new computer and am working out the kinks. Andrea I promise they will be perfect when you get them!

Sneak Peek - "D" Family! {Monmouth County Family Photographer}

I had a fabulous session with the "D" family, who welcomed me into their amazing home today. This busy family has four kids - one girl and three boys - who were so incredibly polite and well behaved!!! It was such a pleasure to hang out with them for a few hours! Here is just a quick peek... my new computer has not yet arrived, so I edited just a few on our klunky old desktop. :( Please forgive me if the color is a little off - rest assured they will be perfect once I am back up and running!

"D" family, I hope you enjoy your peek... and thank you again for your patience!!!

We are experiencing technical difficulties...

When it rains it pours. First my hubby's car died, forcing us to buy him a new one. Not a bad thing, a new car... and we knew it was coming... but its still not something we wanted to do just yet. Then, last night, my laptop computer, the one I do all my photo editing on, the one that holds my entire business... my life... crashed. No warning, nothing. Just a black screen and the horrible message that my hard drive could not be found. After taking it to the Computer Hospital this morning, it was officially pronounced dead. Thank goodness I back up my images!!! But, this will set me back on editing and processing images and client orders. My sincere apologies to my wonderful clients... I will do everything I can to get things done. But in the meantime, I must sit and wait for my new system to arrive. So please bear with me... I really appreciate your patience.

Sneak Peek - "Miss J" {Ocean County Portrait Photographer}

Today I met 13 year old "J" and her mom and we had a blast shooting on the beach at Point Pleasant. "J" was adopted from China, and she and her mom celebrate her adoption day each year ... and I was so totally honored to hear that all she wanted for her adoption day was a photoshoot with me! "J", I really hope the pics are all that you hoped for and then some!!!! Enjoy this little peek!

Sneak Peek - "M" Family {New Jersey Baby & Child Photographer}

I first met the "M" family when Mom contacted me to photograph their first child... little "G", when he was a newborn. He's a big boy now at age two, and they've now welcomed a second son, little "O", who was born just five weeks ago. I was so happy to be invited back into their home to photograph their newest addition!

Here's "G"... the "big boy" of the family... is he handsome or what???

And new baby brother "O"... sweet as can be! Mom loves hats, and this one (made by my friend Ellen - the "crochet nanny") was a hit.

And how cute is this little peanut all snuggled up in this cocoon... also made by the crochet nanny!

I think these are my favs though... I love this new backdrop for baby portraits with a real modern flair!

Mom had the perfect little "sweet pea" onesie to match the backdrop!

And of course, a fun shot of the new family together on their front porch...

Enjoy your sneak peek "L" and "M" ... I'll let you know when your gallery is ready.

Meet Lucy!!!

So... my son's friend decided to let his two hamsters "play" together. Surprise surprise, a few weeks later, along came a litter of baby hamsters. Being an animal lover, and a total softee, I was (easily) talked into taking a four week old baby home last week. So far, this "free" hamster has cost me at least $100.00. First we bought the "critter trail" cage - the plastic kind with the bars, tubes and all kinds of fun add ons... what a mistake! Trying to clean it was a nightmare - it kept breaking every time I touched it, and you just cant get the insides of those tubes very clean! Also, the dog has been keeping very close watch on the cage, so I've been afraid to leave it unattended for fear that we would return to a scene out of CSI. So, it was back to the pet store today for a heavy glass aquarium and new accessories... easier to clean, and the dog cant knock it over and make a snack of poor Lucy. Anyway, after a full week with her I can say its all worth it in the end... Matty and I are totally smitten with our new addition to the family!

Amazing Grace... {New Jersey Senior Photographer}

OH*MY*GOODNESS. I recently blogged a casting call for a girl with a pretty dress to model for me while I tried some new ideas. Wow did I get lucky when Grace answered the call! She's beautiful, and arrived for her shoot in the most stunning dress - exactly what I had in mind when I put out the casting call. Here are just a few images from our shoot today...

Grace I hope you had half as much fun as I did today! I will have LOTS more for you shortly, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
